Please do not create a separate account for NETLAB+ connectivity. We require the root account to access, this is a limitation of Proxmox VE.

Root Account

When using Proxmox VE as a backend, we require access to the root account of the PVE system. This is a limitation of a Proxmox VE system unable to clone all the account features. Please see the following list for more information:

  • You must use the root account when connecting your NETLAB+ system to the management server.

  • You must use the same password on all hosts.
