Scenario 1: Fresh Install

Tip

All links below open to a new tab so you can follow the list below. Alternatively, this checklist is printable for your convenience.

In this scenario, you will be installing a fresh copy of NETLAB+ and will not be transitioning any data from an existing NETLAB+ VM. You will use Proxmox for the entire backend.

This scenario would be used if one or more of the following cases is true:

  • If you are a new customer.

  • If you are an existing customer:

    • You DO NOT care about user accounts, class data, statistics, etc.

    • You MUST download all custom pod and lab designs if transferring them to new system. (Note administrators cannot download instructor pod and lab designs, instructors must to this themselves.)

    • NDG Recommends taking screenshots of all real hardware pod configurations if transferring to new system. (It is recommended you consider Scenario 2)
